Hey Angel! Sorry I didn't recognize you on Weavers. Wish I hadn't been so overly tired and ditzy :-P Hope we can work together again so I can say "hey!"
Hey Angel, thanks for responding to the discussion. We'd love to have you on set. I will let you know beforehand though that this isn't a professional deal, we're college students that have experience in acting and some directing, and we like to make films. I will be finishing up the scripts this week and I will be in touch, to let you know what's going on. Thanks again :)
I saw your 'dance-video.' Some silly stuff -- your concept alone had me LOL! I've a few PS's for you...
Practice, Practice, Practice...
Start with the simple basics and add from there...
Picture a naked mannequin -- that should get you stimulated -- LOL! You can add anything you want to the figure, yet underneath, it's the same form... I'm talkin' simple proven guidelines like...
Good v Bad...
Boy finds girl, loses girl, finds girl...
3-Acts -- a beginning, middle and end...
Start with one location and expand only if necessary...
Small as possible cast...
Rewrite, rewrite, rewrite...
Smallest crew...
Maintain your center of axis for actors, line of movement, etc...
White-cards a must!...
Consistent lighting...
Then, action, action, action!
Well, I think you get my joust -- I didn't mean to belabor you -- yet there's method in my madness -- LOL!
Are you aware of the 'Finding Hope..." feature project seeking crew at this moment? The address is:
http://findinghopenowthemovie.com/
I've never been on a set I didn't like -- I've tossed my name to them as well... It's been my experience of not always having the right number of crew. Sometimes, there can be too many, yet more often, crew simply needs a day off here and there... This is where we go scrambling to find someone to fill in so we don't have to double-duty. And who better to fill in than someone who's been around the set and we've gotten to know?
So, grab your 'blueprints,' show up to the site and get busy!
Are you interested in doing more short films? Cast & Crew Films is trying to build a talent file for the Fresno area if you are interested? We are also building an Extra's Talent File as well if you know of anybody who would be interested?
