Hello. We are a theatre company looking for a director that's willing to help us out on a project. It's a play, not a movie, but if you're willing to branch out from film and do theatre, then this is…Continue

Just your average fat guy, working twice as hard as the good looking male actors. Someone said I reminded them of Kevin James, yay?

I have been acting since I was 7 years old. That was 20 years ago. It seems so long ago. I have an AA in Theatre Arts from Fresno City College and I'm now working on my BA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting from Fresno State. I've done almost every theatre job you can have. Acting is definately my favorite though. I love doing sound too though. I love to sound design (even though I haven't really done that), and run the sound booth. I am co-founder of the People Next Door Theatre Company which I formed with my best friend. You can check out some of my acting credits and head shots at: www.myspace.com/steven_wilcox and my theatre company's website is www.pndtheatreco.com.

And I was just appointed Fresno Acting Examiner on Examiner.com. Whic basically means I write about acting related items happening around Fresno, CA. http://www.examiner.com/acting-35-in-fresno/steven-wilcox

My first movie was this summer, Jun 29-July 2, 2010. It was Biohazard by Clay Von Thomas. I played a zombie. It was quite the experience. And I think it was a good role for being my first movie. It's not a feature film or anything, it's just a 30 minute film, but it was still a cool experience. It's a nice stepping stone for my first movie, I suppose. I hope to do other movies, possibly with showing my real face and not some kind of monster, and maybe a couple lines, but I guess I can take it slow. Maybe do a couple more extra roles if I see an oppertunity and can make it. it's hard for me to get out of the valley since I'm a full time student, I am not employed, so I don't have money to go far, and I don't even have a car. I have to barrow one. But I'd love to do some more films, short or not, that might do some filming in the Fresno area as long as it doesn't interfer with school and my theatre company, and well, I guess we'll take it from there.

If you're curious I'm also an unsigned Christian hiphop artist. And I'm very unsigned. I just do it for fun. I am alright. I write my own words and steal beats from free online music sites since I can't do my own music. If you want to check out my music you can at: www.myspace.com/anotherwannabwhiteboyrapper

I also like to create videos. I used Windows Live Movie Maker but eventually i might start using Power Director. My personal videos aren't theatre or movie related, they are music related so I don't feel the need to post them here but if you are interested you can check out my youtube page. www.youtube.com/madtownsfinest

I have also created commercials for my theatre company. They are posted on this site. www.fresnofilmmakersalliance.com/profile/pndtheatreco and we have a youtube page that also has those videos on them. www.youtube.com/pndtheatreco and you can find them on our video page on our website. www.pndtheatreco.com.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and get to know my entertainment expience.

Steven, you are to be in the ending credits of the film, that is correct. I'll see the director at the premiere. Not sure who you emailed that you thought cast you in the film (Biohazard), but I was the casting director for your role.

Steven, there are movies on IMDB where I was the Art Director and don't have a listing so don't feel too bad. As long as you get screen credit at the end it's all good.
