Hello all!I've just recently moved from Pasadena back to Fresno and I'm looking to get some projects off the ground. Tell us about yourself:
My name is James Sadler and I'm a filmmaker from Fresno, CA. After receiving a BA in Narrative Film Production from CSU Long Beach in 2015, I have been in the process of getting my own projects off the ground, and am currently working as a freelance screenwriter, proofreader, coverage provider, and script doctor. I have been writing screenplays for almost 10 years and have had many years of experience freelancing on all levels of production. I am eager for work and am anxious to get back behind the camera and direct something of my own in the future.
List your credits:
During my time at CSU Long Beach, I wrote, produced, and directed two short films entitled "Hallelujah Hotline" and "Spoon-Fed", with the latter winning grant money from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. While there, I also worked on multiple student and amateur films, performing a wide variety of jobs including: script doctor, producer, production designer, DP, camera operator, grip, etc.

The last few years I have been focusing on screenwriting, proofreading, and doctoring, working with numerous amateur and independent filmmakers to help perfect their screenplays. I have recently been featured as a finalist or semi-finalist in numerous screenplay contests, including the annual Cannes Screenplay Contest, LA Cineast, and Scriptapalooza for my work, with several short and feature length script under my belt and in progress.

Currently, I am employed as a writer-for-hire at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, developing two screenplays for future production.
