New ABC Comedy Show "Happy Endings" Now Casting First Episode

"Happy Endings", a new comedy show from ABC, is now casting major roles for its pilot episode which begins filming this May.
From the executive producer of "My Boys", this sitcom will be about a couple that breaks up after being on the verge of getting married at the altar----and then tries to remain friends after the breakup.
"Happy Endings" will star Elisha Cuthbert and Damon Wayans Jr. It is being written by David Caspe and will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
The show is being produced by Jamie Tarses, David Caspe, and Jonathan Groff for Fanfare Productions and Sony Pictures Television in association with ABC Studios.
ROLES AVAILABLE:
FEMALES
Jackie, any ethnicity, 18 - 20s. Jackie is an attractive, flirty, and alluring young woman with a wild streak who has an extended fling with Dave after recognizing him from a Youtube video. Jackie comes across as a bit flaky and unsophisticated at first----she claims that her career goal in life is to be a reality TV star. But as she gets to know Dave better, she begins to reveal a more substantial side to herself. She begins to consider the idea of being in a long-term relationship with Dave. CO-STARRING ROLE
The Boss, any ethnicity, 30s - 40s. This woman is a hard-nosed, ruthless, and cynical executive who clawed her way to the top of a major advertising corporation. She is known simply as "The Boss". Her company is having a high-stakes meeting with some potential Japanese investors for a new energy drink called "Ballz Out", and she is determined to make sure everything goes well. But she is horrified during the meeting when her top executive Bo suddenly decides to take off in the middle of his presentation.
MALES
Todd, Caucasian, 20s - Mid 30s. Todd is a handsome, charming, and stylish guy who is going out on a first date with Penny on her birthday. He and Penny met through an online dating website and their date seems to be going well at first. Though Todd is a volunteer fireman, he also has a "metrosexual" sense of fashion. Penny's gay friend Max is convinced that Todd is gay----and Max soon tries to hit on him during the party. But Todd simply gets uncomfortable with Max's overtures and ends up suddenly leaving Penny's party in a huff. PRINCIPLE ROLE
Bo, any ethnicity, Late 20s - 40s. Bo is a clean-cut, polite, and emotionally confused yuppie guy who once dated Alex before she decided to marry Dave. He now works as an advertising executive for an energy drink company. Bo has always had lingering feelings for Alex and he is very upset that she is now getting married. During a corporate presentation to a group of Japanese investors, Bo suddenly feels compelled to run away from his meeting and race over to interrupt Alex's wedding ceremony. Bo gets to the wedding just in time and he melodramatically gets Alex to run off with him before she gives her wedding vows. PRINCIPLE ROLE
