Casting Call for short film (filming in San Jose, CA)!

Auditions for Bay Area Short Film Competition being held Thursday August 2^nd, 5:00pm @ Fresno State Television Studio (Speech Arts building)!

This is a paid gig of $500 per lead role (2), food and hotel room will be paid for.

Details:

Actors must be completely available from Friday 12:00pm, August 10^th to Sunday 7:00pm August 12^th in San Jose, California. We will be filming Friday night (7pm) through some of the night and all day Saturday. We will still require actors to be on location Sunday in case we have to do pickups or reshoots.

The competition guidelines forbid any type of pre production (as far as character and story development goes) so the script and characters will be created after the instructions are handed to the director Friday night at 7pm.

Film crew is from Fresno, Director is from North Bay area; 48-hour film competition is in San Jose, California. Shoot is in San Jose

What we are looking for:

• Male Lead (early to late 20’s), Caucasian, handsome.
• Female Lead (early to late 20’s), Caucasian, pretty.

What we need:

• Actors that are looking for a serious challenge in working on a 48 hour film production.
• Serious actors that can learn lines and develop a character within a few hours.
• Reliability and professionalism. If you are usually late to gigs, we can’t use you.
• Improv experience is a plus!

Again, actors must be completely available from Friday 12:00pm, August 10^th (that means you are physically in San Jose at 12pm) to Sunday 7:00pm August 12^th in San Jose, California.

Auditions will be filmed by local crew and viewed by the director (who is in north bay) that night!
